Acelera Pedra Branca drives the evolution of startups at the ideation stage

Acelera Pedra Branca drives the evolution of startups at the ideation stage

The 5th edition of Acelera Pedra Branca helped startups build more structured businesses out of early-stage ideas.

For projects at the ideation stage, access to guidance, methodology, mentoring and exchanges with specialists helped founders mature their proposals, better understand their markets and define paths for growing their companies.

From ideation to business model

Some founders arrived at the latest edition of the program with a proposal still taking shape and open questions about audience, value proposition and business model.

MedScribe, conceived by Wanessa Miranda, began its participation with the idea of automating compliance and data protection (LGPD) processes using artificial intelligence.

During the program, the company identified an opportunity in the healthcare sector and began developing a virtual assistant for doctors. “We did market research and found that doctors lose a lot of time writing up diagnoses instead of talking to the patient,” says Wanessa.

At Ochs, founded by Leonardo Bonenberger, the initial challenge was also understanding how to turn the idea into a structured operation.

Focused on the B2B market, the company developed a method for organizing content production by founders and specialists looking to expand their presence on digital channels. During the program, it made progress in defining the problem, the target audience and how the offer is delivered.

Mentoring broadened the founders' perspective

Mentoring sessions, workshops and exchanges with other Acelera participants helped the founders weigh different perspectives and make decisions with greater confidence.

For Wanessa, the sessions surfaced “concerns we couldn't see”, and the hands-on workshops helped bring more clarity to the project.

Leonardo says that before the program he tried to resolve his doubts alone and ended up unable to move forward. With support from mentors and coordinators, he was able to organize the business model and define the company's next moves.

Next steps

MedScribe is in the MVP development phase, with validation planned alongside a breast cancer specialist. “The progress has been huge compared to where we started, when we didn't know where to begin,” says Wanessa.

Ochs, in turn, moved on to structuring a business with defined services, methods and processes. Next steps include completing internal stages, projecting revenue and costs, and starting to sell.

New businesses in the innovation environment

The results of Acelera Pedra Branca show the importance of programs that support founders from their very first steps.

By offering method, guidance and access to a network of specialists and companies, the program helps turn initial proposals into businesses better prepared for the next stages of development.

Inaitec plays its part in this process by bringing founders, knowledge and opportunities together within the innovation environment of Parque Tecnológico Pedra Branca.
