From October 9 to 18, 2024, INAITEC had the honor of participating in the GITEX Dubai 2024 Business Mission, one of the world's largest technology and innovation events. Representing the Santa Catarina ecosystem, INAITEC brought five startups to this immersion in the global innovation universe, connecting companies, governments, and investors from various parts of the world.
Presence at GITEX Expand North Star 2024
With more than 1,835 companies, 923 investors, and 650 speakers, the event was a showcase for startups to present high-impact technological solutions. INAITEC was among the four Brazilian hubs selected by ApexBrasil and Sebrae, reinforcing the relevance of the Santa Catarina ecosystem on the international stage.
Strategic connections in Dubai
In addition to GITEX, the mission included technical visits to leading innovation hubs, such as:
- Dubai Business Women Council, which highlights gender equality in entrepreneurship.
- Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park), an example of integration between academia, government, and the private sector.
- DIFC Innovation Hub, the region's main financial and innovation hub.
These meetings reinforced the importance of international collaboration and opened doors for startups to expand their operations globally.
INAITEC startups in the spotlight
The participating startups, such as AutoPop 360, ForPay, and Zoome, took advantage of the mission to establish strategic connections, promote innovative solutions, and seek new market opportunities.
Impact of participation
The Dubai experience strengthened INAITEC's positioning as a hub that connects local ideas to global markets. The mission not only provided learning about new business models, but also positioned Santa Catarina as a reference state in innovation and technology.
