Controlling the exact amount of additives and supplements given to animals in the field, even remotely, is already a reality for feed and meal plants, farms and companies across Brazilian agribusiness.
That capability was developed by VECZEN Smart Control Platform, a new company from Eurotec, which takes part in Inaitec's Open Innovation Program. The initiative gave rise to a platform combining AI, automation and real-time data analysis to improve animal nutrition control.
The tool, called Cortex, was built to meet industry needs: reducing operational errors, avoiding waste and enabling remote monitoring of activities carried out in industrial and agricultural settings. It will be incorporated into all of Eurotec's solutions.
Precision in input control
In industrial operations, applying additives and supplements correctly depends on accurate data and continuous monitoring. Dosing failures can drive up costs and make it harder to track production activities.
VECZEN develops hardware and software solutions that, through sensors and automated systems, make smart factories and real-time process optimization possible.
Analyzing this data in real time helps technical teams monitor operations and make decisions, providing greater control over how nutritional inputs are applied.
The AI technology for animal nutrition is already present in operations across 20 Brazilian states, with 2,000 units installed at business sites.
Inaitec's role
Inaitec took part in structuring the project by connecting the need presented by Eurotec Nutrition with the expertise in technology, automation and new business development required to build the tool.
Through the Eurotec Nutrition by Inaitec innovation lab, the institutions created an environment geared to accelerating technology projects and putting new technologies to practical use in industry.
The initiative shows how bringing companies and research centers closer together can speed up tools aimed at specific needs of the productive sector, uniting technical knowledge and industrial demands.
