Innovation is already a reality in the agribusiness sector, and Eurotec Nutrition, a national reference in inputs for the animal protein industry, has decided to accelerate this process alongside Inaitec. The partnership between the institutions resulted in the creation of the Eurotec Nutrition Innovation Laboratory by Inaitec, a space focused on technological solutions, open innovation, and new ways of connecting with the ecosystem.
We spoke with Christian Pozzobon, responsible for the transformation and innovation movement at Eurotec Nutrition alongside Inaitec, who explained the next steps of this pioneering initiative.
Technological and market challenges
"The idea is based on mapping the company's and the segment's challenges, selecting those with the greatest relevance to be shared with the Innovation Ecosystem, and finally connecting with startups willing to suggest solutions with a high capacity for innovation and transformation in this market. Our search at this moment will be very focused on developing solutions based on Engineering and IoT," says Pozzobon. The expectation is that the laboratory will be a catalyst for concrete solutions, with gains in scale and innovation beyond the company's core.
Strategic spin-off with global focus
One decision that materialized in this movement was the creation of a spin-off as part of Eurotec Group's strategy, strengthening the rapid international growth of this group, with this company being responsible for technological transformation and governance. Inaitec is fundamental in this process, Christian points out. The laboratory functions as a creative and agile hub, with freedom to explore new markets and business models.
Innovation from within: the corporate game
With the aim of engaging the team, the program is also developing a corporate game. "The Eurotec group understands that transformation comes from innovation, and we have a lot of internal potential. The game gives employees the opportunity to present real solutions and, stage by stage, they can be recognized and rewarded," he explains. The gamified mechanics create a virtuous cycle of engagement and development.
Connection with startups and real challenges
The next phase of the program will be a public call inviting startups resident at Inaitec to solve Eurotec's strategic challenges. "We have many internal and external challenges. We want to connect with the Inaitec ecosystem and propose real solutions. The call will include a panel presentation and could result in financial investment by Eurotec in the selected startups."
Expected impacts: corporate, ecosystem, and social
The program seeks impact on three fronts:
- Corporate: bringing a new culture of innovation and creativity to Eurotec.
- Ecosystem: strengthening the connection with the technology park and boosting new partnerships.
- Social: attracting businesses, generating jobs, and developing solutions that positively reverberate in society.
A laboratory with a reference signature
Conceptualized by Guilherme Mocci, an architect responsible for innovation projects such as Google, Softplan, and Acate, the Innovation Laboratory is more than a physical space — it is a strategic environment for fostering transformation. "It is great to have the endorsement of a professional with such a track record in the development of innovation laboratories," reinforces Pozzobon.

The Eurotec Nutrition by Inaitec laboratory already influences other projects and is consolidating Inaitec as a protagonist in building an open innovation model in the agribusiness sector.
